First Annual FashInvest Conference

Our Inaugural Capital Conference was a huge success and was the first time over 300 entrepreneurs, investors and industry representatives gathered together to explore and engage with emerging growth companies within Branded Goods, Fashion, Retail and Fashion Tech. The Conference featured 15 entrepreneurs presenting their company opportunities in an eight minute format, to financiers and operating executives in the audience in search of investment capital and strategic partnering opportunities as well as 8 additional “Featured Companies” with write-ups in the Conference Book.  In addition, top experts in the industry participated in panel discussions focused on topics surrounding strategies to grow, attain investment and achieve exit. The Conference featured Leading CEO Keynotes, Neil Cole of Iconix Brand Group as CEO Keynote, Norma Kamali as Designer Keynote, and Ben Fischman as Entrepreneur Keynote , powerful panel presentations and plenty of networking opportunities. As with any great conference, networking is a must, and as such our conferences began with a memorable opening reception where investors, entrepreneurs, CEOs and invited guests join to meet and greet, exchange ideas and capture the excitement of innovation in the industry. It was an amazing Inaugural Event and we cannot wait for 2011’s Second Annual Capital Conference.
